The Good News...and the Bad

Maybe best to start with the bad. The first printings of the paperback went out with a missing last page. I was more than embarrassed. Neither my publisher nor I could figure out how this happened. The eBook version was fine.

I apologized to many readers and added the last page or had the book replaced. We also remounted the book on Amazon to make certain future orders were complete. We also flagged the book to make returns to Amazon easier for any affected reader.

Again, apologies for this problem. I am attaching the last page at the bottom of this post for anyone who is missing page 610.

The good news is that the book is getting good notice and Goodreads reviews! Uff da! I'm lining up some readings and discussions over the next few months. here's a link to an interview about the book from the Historical Novel Association: https://historicalnovelsociety.org/launch-m-e-hotvedts-unns-saga/

. I can feel that, as I feel her now. The ferrv's horn sounds as the ship clears the harbor and enters open water. Gulls scream overhead. Ina leans over the rail and looks off into the distance ahead.
